Only the best of the best become our camp staff. Take a look at what goes in to recruiting, hiring and training our staff!
Tegan Lentz – Camp Director
This is Tegan’s second summer with Edventure More. An Art and Science Instructor last year, Tegan’s favorite part of the summer was Edmo in the Park, so it’s no surprise that she’s so excited to return this year as Camp Director. Tegan completed her degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and worked as an engineer just long enough to learn that it wasn’t where her passion lay. She recently completed her teaching credential at San Jose State and looks forward to teaching middle school science next year. When she isn’t helping kids find their next discovery, Tegan enjoys reading, music, fitness, and outdoor activities with her dog, Bailey.
One of the best things is to see how campers learn and grow from their time at camp. I can’t wait to see what each child gains from this year’s program! I’m really really excited about all the fun that we’ll have at camp this summer, but I think the thing that will be the very best is sharing all the “aha” moments with campers. There’s nothing that beats that!”
Alex Ly – Counselor
This is Alex’s first year at Edventure More and he is joining the staff as a camp counselor. Alex graduated from UC Davis in 2012 with a double degree in Political Science and History. Over the years Alex has accumulated experience as a badminton coach and was the assistant coach for Palo Alto High School’s Badminton team. As a recent college graduate, Alex is planning on being a Marriage Family Therapist in the future. Alex has a strong passion for working with kids of all ages and is looking forward to an exciting summer with kids. He enjoys music, playing badminton, reading, dancing, and doing silly things.
Diana Garcia – Counselor
This will be the first year Diana Garcia joins Camp Edmo, as a Camp Counselor at Cupertino. She was glad to receive an opportunity to join Camp Edmo this summer. Diana is certain that this summer will be one of the best of her life. Nothing could be better than the warmth of the summer, fun activities to lead and the laughter of kids. Outside of Camp Edmo, Diana is a student at San Jose State University, an extended care activity leader for Moreland School District and a spanish tutor. Diana’s favorite hobbies include hiking, reading, going to the movies, and trying new foods. Diana will make sure her enthusiasm, silliness and her love for kids will be present at Camp Edmo Cupertino.
This summer will be my first with Camp Edmo and I can’t wait. I am ready for this new adventure with all the campers. I am sure we will have tons of fun and together we will learn a bunch of cool new things. Hope to see you at Camp Edmo Cupertino, so we can get our EDMO VIDE ON!”

I look forward to camp season every year because the developmental improvements that I see from my kids. This is owed completely to the wonderful experiences that they have at Camp. The social developments and the variety of activities and support from staff help my family so much!!”
One of the biggest reasons we signed up for Edmo was The Vibe and I was not disappointed. The staff and the campers obviously rock the vibe which is great. It’s wonderful to see my son engage in such a well rounded program of physical exercise, learning, art ,and humanity. I have and will continue to promote the Edmo program to everyone I know with kids.”
Thank you for a positive learning and fun camp experience. I can’t say enough good things about this camp. Keep up the good work!”
I’m very pleased with the camp as my son who is quite shy and a little reluctant about summer programs seems so interested in going to this camp and participates actively in all activities! He loves the daily themes as well and goes prepared every day. Lego Robotics has been great fun and the extended care staff have also been wonderful. A great kid friendly camp overall and I’d definitely recommend this to other parents as well.”
