This is Courtney’s first year with Edventure More.  She has experience with many different types of camps including an overnight YMCA camp, animal camp, and martial arts camp.  Courtney graduated with a BS in Animal Science from Calpoly San Luis Obispo and is coming to us from the animal shelter industry.  Courtney is a camper at heart!  She loves all of the fun and excitement of camp and cannot wait to share new things with all of our campers.  In her free time Courtney loves to watch movies, foster homeless animals, and chow down on fake bacon.  Her best friend is her dog, Lorelai.

I wish that every day was a camp day and I cannot wait for this summer to start!  My favorite thing about camp is that every day is different.I’m excited to watch the campers learn new thing,s while getting to experience new things myself!  I hope everyone is ready for some fun!!”

This is Tegan’s first summer with Camp Edmo, and she just can’t wait for it to begin! Tegan received her BS in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and worked in the energy industry for a few years before deciding to become a teacher. She is currently completing her teaching credential at San Jose State and looks forward to teaching middle school science when she finishes this year. Tegan loved camp as a kid and plans on being the most spirited this summer with camp songs, costumes, and the Edmo Vibe – or can you beat her? In her free time, Tegan enjoys music, sewing, painting, Crossfit, and outdoors, with friends, or with her dog, Bailey.

I’m really really excited about all the fun that we’ll have at camp this summer, but I think the thing that will be the very best is sharing all the “aha” moments with campers. There’s nothing that beats that!”

Olga is excited to return for her second summer with Edmo! Olga was born in Moscow, Russia, and later moved to California. She received a BA in psychology from University of California, Santa Cruz, and is currently working on her Masters in Social Work at New York University. In the past, Olga has worked at several elementary schools in classrooms ranging from kindergarten to 6th grade, and has enjoyed spending as much time on the playground as the students themselves. Most recently, Olga has worked with inner-city high-risk children and adolescents living in New York City. One of her projects involved using creative arts therapy techniques to help the children and adolescents express their feelings and process past experiences. In the future, Olga would like to pursue her passion for working with children through a career in child and family therapy. In her spare time, Olga enjoys traveling, watching plays, eating ice cream and having pillow fights.
